eny one so far played the sieges and how hard will it be as presumably based on an evenly balanced sides the defenders will have seriously advantage (which dont get me wrong is reasonably good its what most plp will be wanting to do to feel like they have fullfilled the end game so you dont want to make it easy)
so if pepole have ideas or tatics be good to hear them ..
my only real idea (as not got into beta) is for guilds to arrange an early morning raid when most people are in bed to gain a numbers advantage
i also have a big fear of possible lag if this happens then pc npcs will slaughter the attackers --eny comments on this?

Noo! not another early morning raids... I hated thoose guys lol
*did add a nice warlike anything can happened feel though* :P

As for city siege I missed it! I was having a dam chicken dinner when one came about. However I can share that a few mates who i met along beta told me off the some intresting points.

1) Pretty well balanced and the defeneders had a feel of last stand etc.
2) Usual RvR Lag  - nothing major

I didn't get that far in beta, but I am looking forward to it, and very curoius to see how it goes.  I'd probably want to do it when most folks are playing to make it more interesting and fun.
Why so serious?

Are city seiges all high level, or can they be mid-range?

City sieges lvl 40... 25 man warband...instanced from what I read.

But the stars have to align for this to happen...

Control of the Tiers ...i didn't read to far into it... since I am not in that participation group....stupid events are outside my play times.

anyway...this is off but the base of it is..

Control of tier zones..= unlock city to siege...

For example:   area 1 2 3 in a tier.
area 1 has to be locked to move onto area 2 to battle...progressing to full locked zones..then to a final keep take... of there is a stalemate...a timer for lockdown resets
I'll have to read a lot more on the specifics..but I feel its something I can learn more of on Live....  end game is so far away .... unless they hand me lvl 40 and city sieges testing daily.... i will probably just leave that for Live game to experience...

hmm well my friend had said it was an instace as there are 40 man games i presume that it be least the same .D&D did the same for their city npc raids / well just whole game to cut down on lag wander how this would work in a raid EG if limit is max of say 40 man what happens if there are 41 attackers  n 20 defenders dose one guy get to attack on his own or would it be 21 in one instance n 20 in anouther and would it split the defenders up to 10 each or just one with 20, eaither way this i presume would hammper attackers not to metion if your talking to a freind and he is in diffrance instance be strange to see if you successfully defended a city only to find out another team has messed up and got your city got trashed realy am looking to see how this is going to work out ill get in touch with mate see if he has more info

oh yer you need to capture and hold 2 out of 3 castles at tier 4  so wont be easy as you will have t defend one castle while organiseing an attack on another / this then unlocks the city siege after a certain time has ellapst
